For many years Care Providers have stopped short of implementing personal playlist programs because of serious concerns regarding the management of copyright, the costs associated with streaming music and the effort required to coordinate a sustainable cost effective program.

By subscribing to the Encore Playlist Program:-

Home administrators can forecast known costs confident in the knowledge that copyright laws are not being breached in their Home and those delivering the Program are supported.
Lifestyle and pastoral care workers can value add to the programs they offer and access our community knowledge bank where Homes can withdraw and deposit shared resources.
Residents can access the music they love 24/7 from the Home's Music Library where music is catalogued and stored in a file format readily accessible to all residents.
Families can rejoice in the communty bulding personalised approach which the Program offers and Homes can share their success stories in our blog.

PROGRAM TOOLS

Subscribers to the Encore Playlist Program residents, families, workers and administrators access:-

1. Licence to legally reproduce musical works for Encore Playlist Program for shared use in care environments.
The Foundation has created an opportunity for Care Homes, Hospitals, Hospices, Councils, Assisted Living and Home Care providers to establish an in house Encore Playlist Program for resident use under a licence which APRA AMCOS has granted to Music and The Brain Foundation. This licence allows Program subscribers to create legal reproductions of AMCOS controlled musical works.

2. Full Licence access to a CD Decoder with meta tag functionality and choice of compression formats.
This clever decoder enables inexperienced users to achieve excellent results when copying CDs. The copied files are catalogued to your HOME Music Library using the artist, song title and genre which helps you to find specific music quickly. This decoder users industry standard extraction routines optimized for speed and quality. If a CD can't be extracted error free, the decoder shows where the errors are and offers tips on how to improve outcomes.

3. Our Commitment
Encore Playlist Program subscribers receive Program technical support through Music and The Brain Foundation. The Foundation will continue to campaign on behalf of Program subscribers to heighten community awareness of music's potential to improve public health and to elicit government agency and industry assistance to share resources in support of the Program.
