​How to ... Use Sound Check for consistent volume
This tutorial explains how to turn on Sound Check in iTunes to make all of your songs play at the same volume.  When Sound Check is on, iTunes scans the songs in your library and gathers information about their playback volume. When you add new songs to your library, iTunes gathers this information in the background and automatically adjusts song playback volume to the same level.
