WHY? To put in place a strategy to deliver relevant support at a local community level and ensure the sustainable expansion and future growth of the Foundation through the establishment of suburban and regional Community Hubs.
Cornerstone ... Community Hubs
People from all walks of life are encouraged to engage as members of the Foundation's Community Hubs. Our common bond is a commitment to:
... heighten community awareness of the neuroplasticity of the brain
... address local needs in the delivery of community based projects which promote the use of music.
Community Hubs ensure that services delivered in your area are relevant to your local needs. As community needs differ, no two Hubs are expected to be the same.
Community Hubs minimise setup and operational costs as the Hubs share resources and operate under the administrative umbrella of the Foundation. Community Hubs manage their own funds and maintain their own identity with the flexibility to develop their own locally based programs and projects to address local needs and concerns.
Community Hubs are the backbone of the Music and The Brain Foundation and everyone is welcome! If there's not a Hub in your area, then perhaps you might start one! We're here to help and the sky really is the limit!
