Sounds interesting! Must one be able to play an instrument/vocal or will an interest in music and community suffice?

Hello Ilonka ..... Thanks for helping to kickstart this important discussion. The opportunity for a community-based Neighbourhood Music House is founded on the belief that music is for everyone. No, you don't have to be able to play an instrument or be vocally proficient to enjoy what a Neighbourhood Music House could offer. Curiosity will get you through the door and who knows what latent talent you might discover as you engage in music making with others in the community. We would hope that our programs evolve to offer extension opportunities for all abilities; including the many accomplished musicians who live in Bayside, Kingston and surrounding suburbs.
